Little Women is a classic story about four sisters. When the Civic war begins, their beloved father goes away to war. With only their mother to make peace at home and help them in difficulties, they learn to work harder and be resourceful with what they have.
This book is full of morals and virtues that we can all learn from. As they grow up from girls to women, they overcome personal faults and learn to be caring, loving, and selfless. With little money, they learn to contribute to their family’s income and cut back where ever they can.
The girls dream of all the worldly things that they wish to do and to have, but slowly realize that they are already content and have so many blessings.
The plot and characters in this story are so vivid and real that it completely drew me in. I couldn’t put it down from start to finish. This is a heartwarming classic that you are sure to love.
