Dr. Celina Benavides is a developmental psychologist, professor, researcher, and entrepreneur. Her work is centered on the positive development of children, youth, and families, with a particular focus on mental health, social-emotional development, and educational outcomes. In her efforts to address equity of accessing resources, she shares evidence-based strategies for parents, caregivers, and educators on Instagram and YouTube. She also co-founded an apparel line, EmpathyIncorporated, to raise awareness and normalize mental health discussions.
