The Gilded Age was the age of gold,

But underneath, it was dirty and old.

Rockefeller and Carnegie were monopolizing the industries,

Immigrants, meanwhile, worked day and night in factories.

The meat was infested, covered in mold,

Children and laborers worked out in the cold.

The Gilded Age brought huge advancements in history,

But what was in the meat remains a mystery.

Although the Gilded Age brought opportunities,

It also led to big transformations in the country.
